MANILA, Philippines — Households with pregnant members or children aged zero to two years and covered by the government’s Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) have been advised to update their profiles in order to be included in the rollout of the First 1,000 Days (F1KD) program of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) next year.

Gemma Gabuya, 4Ps national program manager and director, said the updating of profiles is crucial to ensure that these households are included in the implementation of the F1KD program.

Gabuya said concerned 4Ps beneficiaries could update their information through their city/municipal links by filling out the beneficiary updating system Form 5.

“The cooperation of 4Ps households is important as this will help the management identify possible and eligible recipients of conditional cash grants,” she said.

The updating is part of the preparations for the implementation of the F1KD grants in January, Gabuya said.

The F1KD conditional cash grant is an additional financial support under the 4Ps, which DSWD Secretary Rex Gatchalian proposed to President Marcos.

The program intends to assist households during the first 1,000 days of a child’s development.
