Central Luzon police director assumes post
CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga, Philippines — Brig. Gen. Redrico Maranan assumed as Central Luzon police director following a change of command ceremony held at this camp on Monday.
Maranan replaced Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., who opted to retire early from the service.
Philippine National Police chief Gen. Rommel Francisco Marbil led the ceremony held at the Patrol Hall of the Central Luzon police.
Maranan was accorded full arrival honors by uniformed and non-uniformed personnel of the regional police.
In his speech, Maranan committed to work closely with officers and personnel of the Central Luzon police.
He emphasized the importance of adhering to the PNP chief’s directives and committed to advancing the region’s efforts in combating crime.
