MANILA, Philippines — Three persons were arrested after they allegedly yielded methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu valued at P514,000 in Pasig and Manila on Saturday.
In Pasig, Adrian Amanio, 21, said to be a high-value suspect in the illegal drug trade, and his cohort Jasmine Navales, 19, were nabbed during an anti-narcotics operation in Barangay Manggahan, according to National Capital Region Police Office director Maj. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr.
Police said they recovered from the suspects around 55 grams of shabu and the marked money.
In Manila, John Louie Laysa, 25, was apprehended in a drug sting in Sampaloc that yielded P140,000 worth of marijuana.
Police said charges of drug trafficking are being readied against the suspects.
