MANILA, Philippines — A lone bettor from Cavite won the P19-million jackpot in the Lotto 6/42 draw on Thursday, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office said yesterday.
The PCSO said the lone winner guessed the winning combination 05-26-02-21-08-27, which carried a total jackpot prize of P19,033,913. The ticket was bought at an outlet in General Trias, Cavite.
Aside from the jackpot winner, the PCSO said 56 other bettors won P24,000 each for guessing five of the winning six-digit combination while 2,129 others won P800 each for correctly guessing four of the winning digits.
Lotto winnings of more than P10,000 are subject to a 20-percent tax under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law.
