MANILA, Philippines — The mother of missing pageant candidate Catherine Camilon has urged dismissed police major Allan de Castro and his driver to tell the truth about the fate of her daughter.

De Castro and his driver, Jeffrey Magpantay, were arrested in Barangay Caloocan in Balayan, Batangas on Sept. 14. They were tagged as principal supects in the disappearance of Catherine.

Rose Camilon said De Castro and Magpantay should reveal what they did to her daughter.

“All I’m asking them is to tell me where my daughter is and what they did to her,” Camilon said.

She said their family remains at a loss as they do not know what exactly happened to Catherine, and whether she is still alive.

De Castro, who is married, earlier admitted to having an affair with Catherine, but denied involvement in her disappearance.

Camilon said she has no strength to face De Castro.

“There is fear and heaviness in my heart knowing they are here and my daughter is not,” she said, referring to the suspects.
