CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines — Police have recaptured the three inmates who escaped from a custodial facility in Taytay, Rizal on Tuesday.
Taytay police chief Gaylord Pagala said Ronald Barrera and Kurt Cavasal were rearrested in Antipolo and Taytay, respectively, a few hours after the jailbreak, while Danny Cancino was caught in Pasig yesterday morning.
Barrera and Cancino are facing drug cases while Cavasal is facing charges for gun possession, according to Lt. Col. Chitadel Gaoiran, spokesperson for the Calabarzon police.
Pagala said two jail officers on duty were relieved from their posts due to the incident
