MANILA, Philippines — Some roads around the University of Santo Tomas in Manila will be closed to traffic for the 2024 Bar examinations in September.

In an advisory yesterday, the Manila city government said it would reroute traffic along España Boulevard, Dapitan street and nearby roads on Sept. 8, 11 and 15.

City hall said “assisted traffic” would be enforced from Lacson Avenue to Padre Noval street from 2 a.m. to 8 a.m. and from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. for drop-off and pick-up purposes only.

Dapitan street will be closed to vehicular traffic from 2 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Motorists are advised to plan their trips and use alternative routes.
