DAGUPAN, Pangasinan, Philippines — Two dead men were found floating in a river in this town on Saturday.
Police said the bodies were found 100 meters away from each other in Pantal River.
Responding personnel of the city disaster risk reduction and management council, along with the Philippine Coast Guard and the Philippine National Police, helped retrieve the bodies.
The victims were described to be of medium build, about 5’2” and 5’4” in height, and with fair complexion.
Initial investigation showed the men could have drowned somewhere and were carried by the current to the Pantal River.
Probers said the bodies showed no signs of injuries.
