PCSO bewails fake ad

MANILA, Philippines — An advertisement circulating on Facebook about a supposed electronic lotto application is fake, according to the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO).

The fake advertisement features photos of PCSO general manager Melquiades Robles and board chairman Felix Reyes, as well as the logo of e-wallet GCash.

“That is fake,” Robles told The STAR.

Robles said he would ask the Department of Information and Communications Technology and Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center to look into the incident.
