CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines — A joint police team arrested three dismissed policemen late Thursday for their alleged involvement in a robbery incident in Kawit, Cavite in March.
Police identified the suspects as alias Lynard, John Paolo and Reynaldo – former members of the Laguna Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit, Cavite Provincial Intelligence and Detective Management Unit and Cavite Provincial Intelligence Unit.
Imus Regional Trial Court Judge Emannuel Ocsing issued the warrant of arrest for the three for robbery in band and recommended a P100,000 bail for each of them.
Aside from the former police officers, the Regional Intelligence Division 4A, Regional Special Operation Unit 4A and Kawit police are also looking for six others implicated in the crime.
