MANILA, Philippines — Anti-narcotics agents confiscated methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu valued at P3.4 million in Taguig City on Sunday.
Four high-value suspects in the illegal drug trade were arrested during a sting in Barangay Calzada-Tipas at around 5:30 p.m., National Capital Region Police Office director Maj. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. said in a message on Viber.
The suspects were Analiza Camposano, 37: Marcelian Cardoza, 33; Marilog Silvestre, 33, and Jeffrey Reyes , 39, all residents of Taguig.
The suspects were handcuffed after they met with lawmen who posed as drug buyers, police said.
A complaint for drug trafficking was filed against the suspects.
