2 Chinese wounded in gun attack

MANILA, Philippines —  Two Chinese nationals were wounded after an unidentified gunman shot them in General Trias, Cavite on Wednesday.

Cai Nai Chao and Li Jin Shu were standing in front of a hardware in Barangay Pasong Kawayan I when they were shot at around 5:30 a.m., police said. They were taken to a hospital for treatment of gunshot wounds.

Witnesses told police the suspect fled on foot.

Probers recovered six bullet shells for a .45-caliber pistol at the crime scene.
