MANILA, Philippines — Dried marijuana leaves worth P3.6 million were confiscated by agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Tuguegarao, Cagayan on Sunday.

The marijuana, placed in two boxes, was seized from Shaibah Pakiang, 48, who was arrested following a sting in Barangay Centro 11.

Pakiang allegedly sold P50,000 worth of marijuana to undercover PDEA agents.

Meanwhile, up to P2 million worth of kush and liquid marijuana were allegedly confiscated from an online seller in Dasmariñas City on Friday.

Bobby Bautista, alias Bob, 35, was collared at his house in Barangay Victoria after he allegedly sold marijuana to an undercover agent, according to Lt. Col. Julius Balano, Dasmariñas police chief.

The arresting team said they found kush and liquid marijuana in Bautista’s house.

“He is a high-value target of the police. He upgraded his illegal activity by offering marijuana online,” Balano said.

The suspect’s supply allegedly came from Thailand.
