MANILA, Philippines — A rape suspect considered as Pateros’ most wanted fugitive was arrested as he was renewing his driver’s license, the Southern Police District (SPD) said yesterday.
In a report, the SPD said the suspect, identified only as Randel, 36, was arrested at the Land Transportation Office’s Pateros extension on Friday morning.
Randel was served an arrest warrant for rape and acts of lasciviousness issued by Judge Joy Casihan-Dumlao of Pasig Regional Trial Court Branch 262.
There was no recommended bail for the rape charge while P180,000 was set for the charge of acts of lasciviousness.
Randel is detained at the custodial facility of the Pateros police.
