Chinese fugitive caught in Pasay

MANILA, Philippines — A Chinese fugitive was arrested in Pasay City yesterday.

Guo Hui, 37, was apprehended in a condominium building along Taft Avenue at around 3:30 a.m., National Capital Region Police Office director Maj. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. said in a message on Viber.

Nartatez said the foreigner is the subject of a warrant of arrest issued by a Parañaque court for illegal possession of firearms and ammunition.

The suspect did not resist when police took him into custody. He will be brought to the court that issued the warrant to face trial.
