MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 4.1 earthquake jolted Davao Oriental on Saturday night, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology.
Phivolcs said the quake occurred at 10:21 p.m. and its epicenter was located 80 kilometers south of Tarragona town.
The quake was tectonic in origin and was not expected to generate aftershocks or cause damage to property.
