P1.46 million worth of shabu seized in Bohol

MANILA, Philippines — Police confiscated shabu valued at P1.46 million in a sting in Tagbilaran City in Bohol on Friday.

Brig. Gen. Anthony Aberin, Central Visayas police director, said the illegal drugs, weighing around 215 grams, were seized from a drug suspect who was arrested in Barangay San Isidro.

Aberin did not identify the suspect who is being held on drug trafficking complaints.

“Our anti-drug operations will be done simultaneously in all areas within Central Visayas to seal all possible entry points of illegal drugs as part of our comprehensive supply reduction strategy,” Aberin said in a statement.
