MANILA, Philippines — Some major roads in Metro Manila will be repaired this weekend, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has announced.

Most of the roadworks will be done by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) in Quezon City, according to an advisory from the MMDA yesterday.

The DPWH would fix portions of Tandang Sora, Congressional Avenue, Regalado Avenue, Quirino Highway, North Avenue, Mindanao Avenue, Sgt. Rivera, A. Bonifacio Avenue and Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City, the MMDA said.

A portion of Taft Avenue in Parañaque City near the Light Rail Transit Line 1 station would be repaired, it added.

Motorists can use the affected roads starting 5 a.m. on July 1, 2024, said the MMDA.

In the meantime, drivers should use other routes and avoid those undergoing repair.
