MANILA, Philippines — Two men who were playing billiards were shot dead by two still unidentified assailants in Pasay City at past midnight yesterday.
Jojit Carpe, 49, and Jerick Belga, 42, were gunned down in a billiard hall on Saint James street in Barangay 179 at around 12:45 a.m., according to a police report.
Carpe and Belga were playing billiards with two other people when the assailants arrived and shot the victims, police said.
The victims were brought to the Pasay City General Hospital but were pronounced dead on arrival.
A manhunt is underway for the assailants, who remain at large.
