Fetus left in church

MANILA, Philippines — A fetus was found dumped in the Santo Domingo Church in Quezon City on Wednesday night.

An usherette of the church along Quezon Avenue notified a security guard after she smelled a foul odor from a shoe box she found at the reception area at around 6:50 p.m.

When they inspected the box, they found a male fetus measuring five inches.

Barangay officials notified the police, who responded to the scene.

Probers are conducting an investigation to determine the identity of the person who left the fetus in the church.
