COTABATO CITY, Philippines — Two students died while 14 others were injured in a vehicular accident in Malungon, Sarangani on Sunday.
Christian Mark Cordero and Allan Peniero were declared dead on arrival in a hospital, where their 14 companions were also rushed for treatment of injuries.
Reports said the victims were traveling in Barangay Talus when their Toyota Grandia crashed into a 10-wheeler truck parked on the roadside
The victims were on their way home to Kidapawan City from Glan, Sarangani when they figured in the accident.
