MANILA, Philippines — A plebiscite is set to be conducted in Las Piñas City on an ordinance delineating the territorial boundaries of 20 barangays in the city.
The plebiscite will be conducted by the Commission on Elections from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on June 29, the city government said in an advisory.
The plebiscite aims to “make official” Ordinance 1941-23 Series of 2023, which sets the territorial boundaries of the 20 barangays in the city in accordance with the approved cadastral survey of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, which was completed in March 2015.
The city government reminded that a gun ban is in effect until July 6 while a liquor ban would be in effect from June 28 to 29.
