MANILA, Philippines —  All 13 Filipino crewmen of a foreign vessel attacked by Houthi rebels are safe, the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) reported yesterday.

Based on information reaching the DMW, the bulk carrier sustained damage from missiles launched by Houthi rebels on Tuesday.

The vessel was traversing the Yemen coast when it was attacked by Houthi rebels. The vessel continued its voyage to its next port call following the attack.

According to the DMW, it continues to monitor the safety and condition of Filipino seafarers.

“The DMW is also contacting the crew members’ families to provide any assistance they may need,” the agency said.
