MANILA, Philippines — The government’s passport online appointment system (OAS) www.passport.gov.ph is currently experiencing technical glitches, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said yesterday.
The DFA said in a statement that it “is working closely and continuously with APO Production Unit, its service provider, to resolve the issues as soon as possible.”
The department started system maintenance on May 28.
“The DFA understands the importance of the passport OAS and is committed to providing the highest level of assistance. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your cooperation and understanding,” the department said.
For updates on the availability of the system, passport applicants are advised to monitor the DFA website. For inquiries and urgent matters, applicants may contact +632 8234 3488.
