MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 4.4 earthquake jolted Sorsogon on Saturday night, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology.
Phivolcs said the quake occurred at 8:36 p.m. and its epicenter was located six kilometers north of Donsol town.
The temblor was felt at Intensity 2 in Legazpi, Albay, and Intensity 1 in Irosin, Sorsogon and Claveria, Masbate.
Instrumental Intensity 2 was recorded in Milagros, Masbate.
Phivolcs said no damage or aftershocks were expected from the quake, which was tectonic in origin.
