ZAMBOANGA CITY, Philippines — The naval forces in Western Mindanao has a new commander.

Commodore Francisco Tagamolila Jr. took over as head of the Naval Forces Western Mindanao (NFWM) during a change of command ceremony at the Romulo Espaldon Naval Station on Thursday.

Tagamolila replaced Rear Admiral Donn Anthony Miraflor who reached the mandatory age of retirement.
