MANILA, Philippines — A man was injured after a fire razed a building in Makati City at past midnight yesterday.
In a report, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said Mark Nel Milo suffered a second-degree burn on his left arm.
According to the BFP, the fire started in a building along Don Pedro street in Barangay Poblacion at around 1:12 a.m.

In a Facebook post, Onlypans Taqueria, a Mexican restaurant located in the building, confirmed that the establishment was affected by the fire.
“We’re reaching out with heavy hearts about the fire last night at the Vine Building in Poblacion. Sadly, a fire broke out on the roof, affecting every single tenant within the building, including our cherished restaurant on the ground floor,” the post read.
“Our thoughts are with all our neighbors who are also grappling with the aftermath of this devastating event,” it added.
Onlypans assured the public it “will bounce back.”
The BFP said arson investigators have yet to determine the cause of the fire.
