Burglars steal gadgets from Ducati branch

MANILA, Philippines —  Unidentified burglars stole some P225,221 worth of gadgets and cash from a branch of Italian motorcycle manufacturing company Ducati in Quezon City on Monday.

The heist at the Ducati Katipunan branch in Barangay Blue Ridge A occurred at around 4:30 a.m., police investigators said.

The burglars scaled the wall of the establishment and gained access through a window.

Probers said the burglars took five laptops worth P157,540, a DSLR camera priced at P64,000 and P3,681 in cash.

The burglars exited the building through the same route.

Employees of Ducati who discovered the heist reported the incident to the Project 4 police station.

An investigation is underway to identify the burglars.
