BACOLOD CITY, Philippines — Three New People’s Army (NPA) officials have surrendered to the 11th Infantry Battalion in Siaton, Negros Oriental, according to 11th IB commander Lt. Col. Michael Aquino.

The surrenderees were identified as Ensoy or Renso, vice squad leader; Clifford, platoon finance logistic officer, and Ann, medical officer of the dismantled South East Front of the NPA.

They turned over an M16 rifle, a .45-caliber pistol, magazines and ammunition.

Aquino said the enrolment of the rebel returnees to the Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program is being processed for them to be able to receive financial assistance.
