CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines — Two children, aged three and four, died when a fire razed their house in Barangay Biluso in Silang, Cavite on Friday.
The fatalities were identified as Rhian Barrientos, 4, and her brother, Rhyle, 3.
The mother of the victims, Geraldine, said she went out of their house to gather firewood when the fire struck.
The fire, which broke out at 3 p.m., was declared out after more than an hour.
Probers have yet to determine the cause of the fire.
