MANILA, Philippines — A truck driver wanted for six rape cases was arrested in Taguig City on Friday morning, the Southern Police District reported.
SPD director Brig. Gen. Mark Pespes said the 29-year-old suspect, identified only as Elwood, was arrested in Barangay Central Bicutan at around 7:30 a.m.
Elwood, who is also tagged as SPD’s second most wanted fugitive, was the subject of multiple warrants issued by Batangas Regional Trial Court Branch 5 Judge Mary Jane Valeza-Maranan with no bail recommended.
