MANILA, Philippines — Shabu with an estimated street value of P1.4 million was seized in Iloilo City on Wednesday.
The illegal drugs were recovered following separate stings that resulted in the arrest of three suspects, according to Brig. Gen. Jack Wanky, Western Visayas police director.
Wanky identified one of the suspects as alias James, who allegedly yielded shabu worth P82,000 in a sting in Barangay Tabuk Suba.
Another anti-drug operation conducted in Barangay Rizal Pala-Pala I resulted in the seizure of 92 grams of shabu valued at P625,600.
The sting resulted in the arrest of drug suspects, identified as alias Erme and alias Christo.
Police said proper charges would be filed against the suspects.
