UCC to have fifth campus

MANILA, Philippines — The University of Caloocan City (UCC) will have its fifth campus dedicated to programs for medicine and health sciences, Mayor Dale Gonzalo Malapitan said on Friday.

The new campus will feature multiple laboratories, simulation rooms and classrooms in each of the three buildings that will be constructed.

The local chief executive led the groundbreaking ceremony for the campus along Crispulo street in Barangay 180 on Wednesday.

Also present were First District Rep. Oscar Malapitan, Second District Rep. Dean Asistio and Vice Mayor Karina Teh-Limsico.

Malapitan acknowledged the necessity of implementing drastic improvements to the facilities and services offered by the city.

He also renewed his commitment to their constituents to provide quality free education from elementary to college, especially since more career options are available for the people.
