1 hurt in Quezon City fire
MANILA, Philippines — A 61-year-old man was injured after a fire engulfed a house in Quezon City yesterday afternoon.
Aguston Quitoryana was treated for burns by first-aid responders after he was electrocuted.
The fire broke out at around 3:18 p.m. and reached the first alarm, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP)’s National Capital Region field office reported.
Arson probers said the fire engulfed a two-story house along Ilocos Norte street in Barangay Ramon Magsaysay.
Firefighters doused the flames at around 4:08 p.m. Twelve fire trucks responded to the scene, the BFP said.
Probers have yet to determine the cause of the fire.
