MANILA, Philippines — Four people who allegedly burned a modern jeep in Catanauan, Quezon on Wednesday were arrested on Thursday.
An alias Ernesto, said to be a sales manager in Bacoor, Cavite; an alias Noel and a certain Dominic, both civil engineers, and an alias Jade, a film director, were positively identified by the driver, conductor and a passenger of the modern jeep as the culprits.
The suspects were tracked down based on a tip that the police received. They were apprehended at a resort in Barangay Butanyong in Mulanay town, Area Police Command Southern Luzon director Lt. Gen. Rhoderick Armamento said.
Investigation showed the suspects fled in a red Mitsubishi Mirage after they burned the modern jeep in Barangay Dahican.
Probers have yet to determine the motive for the attack.
