Fire hits Korean restaurant in BGC

MANILA, Philippines — A fire broke out in a Korean restaurant in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig after midnight yesterday, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) reported.

Fire Senior Inspector Demetrio Sablan Jr. said the blaze started at around 12:24 a.m. at Premier The Samgyupsal at the corner of 7th Avenue and 36th street.

At least nine fire trucks responded to the fire, which reached first alarm.

The BFP declared fire out at past 1 a.m. Damage to property was placed at P150,000.

Arson investigators said they have yet to establish what caused the fire.
