DOH warns vs powdered milk brand

MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Health (DOH) has issued an advisory warning the public that it is not endorsing a particular brand of milk claiming to contain colostrum.

The DOH said a social media post is using the name of the agency in endorsing the milk brand.

“Criminal charges may be pressed if related post/s shall persist,” the DOH said.

Meanwhile, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has cautioned the public against the purchase and consumption of the unregistered food product Keto Filipino Bakeshop Low Carb & Sugar-Free Peanut Butter Sweetened w/ Stevia.

In an advisory, the FDA said the food product has not gone through its evaluation process and the agency cannot assure its quality and safety.
