Man dies in motorcycle attack
MANILA, Philippines — Police arrested a delivery rider who allegedly ran over a 33-year-old man in the compound of a hospital in Quezon City Tuesday.
Jun Samorillo is under investigation for the incident that killed Bryan Adorio, 33, at the East Avenue Medical Center (EAMC) in Barangay Pinyahan.
Probers said the incident occurred at around 6 a.m. while Samorillo was attempting to meet his former partner, who works as a security guard in the hospital.
As Adorio was walking in the parking lot, Samorillo drove his motorcycle and hit the victim.
Adorio fell to the ground and hit an iron rebar that pierced the right side of his head. He died at the EAMC emergency room.
Security guards apprehended Adorio and turned him over to the police.
An investigation is ongoing to determine what made Samorillo attack Adorio.
