NLEX opens new Meycauayan exit
MEYCAUAYAN, Philippines – The North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) Corp. opened another exit in this city yesterday.
The F. Raymundo exit was opened to Class 1 vehicles. It will be opened to Class 2 and 3 vehicles once widening and upgrading of F. Raymundo and Antonio streets are completed.
NLEX Corp. has also completed the widening of the Meycauayan northbound exit ramp.
The road projects are seen to decongest traffic at the Meycauayan Interchange, especially during peak hours and holidays.
Under a traffic management cooperation agreement, NLEX and the Meycauayan city government will deploy traffic personnel and marshals in the area.
”We are positive that this will improve our motorists‘ travel experience now that they have an additional and alternative route going to the eastern portions of the city of Meycauayan and Marilao,” NLEX Corp. president and general manager J. Luigi Bautista said.
