MANILA, Philippines — Three persons died in gun attacks in Quezon province on Wednesday.

Juan Isagani Mangundayao, former village chief of Barangay Polo in San Antonio town, and his nephew Juan Leo Mangundayao of Barangay Pury were shot dead during a drinking session at a wake in Barangay Poblacion.

In Candelaria, Alfie Escamillas, 40, brother of a former barangay captain in Sta. Catalina Sur, was in front of a motor shop when two men shot him at close range.

Bullet shells for a caliber .45 pistol were recovered at the scene.
