MANILA, Philippines — The Quezon City Public Library (QCPL) has relaunched its offering of free online basic Japanese language classes for 2024.

In a Facebook post, the library said that its basic Japanese language classes will be held once a month spanning February 19 to December 9. The classes will be delivered through videoconferencing platform Zoom.

The first class will start on February 19 and will last two hours from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

The library’s language program requires participants to be aged 18 and above and to have access to a device (laptop, desktop, or smartphone), a stable internet connection and a Zoom application account.

Registration for the free Japanese language class remains open until February 10 through the library’s provided link.
