Application for 2024 Bar exam starts January 15 – SC

MANILA, Philippines — The application period for the2024 Bar examinations is from Jan. 15 to April 5, the Supreme Court (SC) announced yesterday.

In a Bar Bulletin, the SC said new applicants, previous Bar takers and refreshers who do not have existing accounts on the high court’s online platform Bar Applicant Registration System and Tech Assistance (Barista) should create their individual account at https://barista.judiciary.gov.ph/.

Applicants are required to complete or update their respective profiles, fill out the application form and upload or re-upload digital copies of the documentary requirements.

The SC said application fee of P12,800 must be paid through the modes provided in Barista.

Applicants must submit the printed and signed copies of their application forms, along with the physical copies of the mandatory documentary requirements to the Office of the Bar Confidant within 10 days from the notice of approval of application.

They must also upload digital copies and submit physical copies of the deferred documentary requirements to the Barista and OBC until Oct. 15.
