Tarlac lotto player wins P16.8 million jackpot

MANILA, Philippines —  A bettor in Camiling, Tarlac won the jackpot in the Regular Lotto 6/42 drawn on Tuesday night.

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said the lotto player hit the winning combination 04-39-23-19-17-36, which had a total jackpot of P16,813,380.40.

Twenty-nine other bettors, who guessed five of the winning numbers, won P24,000 each.

Mel Robles, PCSO general manager and vice chairman of the board, said the jackpot in the Super Lotto 6/49 was estimated to soar to P571 million in tonight‘s draw.

No one hit the winning numbers 24-39-41-29-22-20, which carried a jackpot of P556,513,732, in the draw on Tuesday.

Forty-two other bettors, who guessed five of the winning numbers, won P50,000 each.

Lotto prizes above P10,000 are subject to a 20 percent tax under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion or TRAIN Law.
