MANILA, Philippines — A man died after he was hit by a motorcycle along Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City yesterday.

The victim, who remains unidentified, was crossing the road in Barangay Old Balara when he was bumped by the motorcycle at around 6 a.m.

The driver of the motorcycle, John Paul Mangiral, 25, also fell to the ground.

Probers said Mangiral came from Elliptical Road and was on his way home to Camarin, Caloocan City when the incident occurred.

The victim died at the scene while a rescue team from the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority brought Mangiral to a hospital.

Probers are looking for leads to identify the victim, who was clad in a black t-shirt and shorts.
