PNP officers get incentives from President Marcos
MANILA, Philippines — A total of 228,272 officers and personnel of the Philippine National Police (PNP) received yesterday their service recognition incentives from the Marcos administration.
The PNP officers and non-uniformed personnel received P12,500 each in bonuses that were credited to their individual ATM accounts.
The incentive aims to acknowledge the commitment and hard work of every member of the police force.
PNP chief Gen. Benjamin Acorda Jr. lauded President Marcos for giving the incentives to police officers and other government workers through Administrative Order No. 12 Series of 2023.
“This generous gesture from the government truly reflects the
recognition of the immense hard work and sacrifices made by our men and women in uniform,” Acorda said in a statement.
In 2022, the service recognition incentive was a one-time reward for government employees under the executive department.
Acorda thanked Marcos for his continuous support and acknowledgment of the PNP’s contributions to national security.
