MANILA, Philippines — A man was arrested for allegedly carrying an improvised handgun along Santiangco street in Barangay Catmon, Malabon at past midnight on Thursday.
City police chief Col. Jay Baybayan said police officers were patrolling the area when they received a call from a concerned citizen about a man carrying a handgun.
The lawmen arrested the suspect, identified only as Johbet, 36, a resident of Barangay Potrero. They confiscated the suspect’s firearm, which had one bullet loaded.
