P2.57 million shabu seized

MANILA, Philippines — Anti-narcotics operatives seized shabu with an estimated value of P2.57 million in Iloilo and Batangas cities on Wednesday.

In Iloilo, 210 grams of shabu valued at P1.42 million were confiscated in a sting in Barangay Boulevard at around 7:15 p.m.

Western Visayas police director Brig. Gen. Sidney Villaflor said four suspects identified only by their aliases of Jenjen, Kloyd, Bordigol and Jojo were arrested.

A .45-caliber pistol and assorted drug paraphernalia were allegedly recovered from the suspects.

In Batangas City, a suspect identified only as Jay was found in possession of 170 grams of shabu worth P1.15 million in Barangay Dela Paz Proper, police said.
