MANILA, Philippines — The Caloocan City Police received eight new mobile patrol vehicles from the city government to boost its campaign on anti-crime activities and public safety.

During the turnover ceremonies held last Dec. 5, city police chief Col. Ruben Lacuesta expressed his gratitude to Caloocan Mayor Along Malapitan for his consistent support, emphasizing the vital role it plays in empowering the city’s police force.

“Rest assured that we will repay this trust through excellent service,” Lacuesta said in Filipino.

Malapitan commended the city police for their numerous accolades throughout the year.

“By aiding the police in fulfilling their sworn duties, the city government also contributes to the well-being of our citizens, ensuring that the youth of Caloocan have a city safe from abuse, drugs and crime,” Malapitan said.
