3 killed in gun, knife attacks

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines — Three persons, including a woman, were killed in gun and knife attacks in Cavite and Laguna on Wednesday.

Mary Ann Paredes was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds in front of her residence in Barangay Salawag in Dasmariñas City at around 5:30 a.m.

Police said bullet shells for a 9mm and caliber. 45 pistol were recovered at the scene.

Robert Curitana was reportedly shot dead during  a drinking session in Barangay Sampaloc 4,  also in Dasmariñas. The suspect, identified only as Junal, fled toward an unknown direction.

In Laguna, Allan Anthony Robles was allegedly stabbed to death while sleeping at his house in Barangay Magsaysay in San Pedro City.

Investigations into the killings are ongoing.
