Super Lotto jackpot to hit P238 million tonight

MANILA, Philippines — The Super Lotto 6/49 jackpot is estimated to reach P238 million by tonight’s draw while the Ultra Lotto 6/58 is estimated to hit P208 million by the next draw on Friday night.

Mel Robles, Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office general manager and vice chairman of the board, said that there was again no winner in Tuesday night’s Super Lotto 6/49 draw, which had the winning combination 41-29-33-31-16-26 and the jackpot of P228 million.

Thirty-nine bettors won P50,000 each for guessing five of the six-digit winning combination.

There was also no jackpot winner in the Ultra Lotto 6/58 draw, also held on Tuesday, which had the winning combination 21-04-23-12-32-35 and a jackpot of P196 million.

There were 28 bettors who each won P120,000 for guessing five of the six-digit winning combination.

The Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law imposes a 20-percent tax on lotto winnings above P10,000.

The Super Lotto 6/49 is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday while the Ultra Lotto 6/58 is drawn every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.
